Sage Hill girls’ volleyball bests Crean Lutheran in Academy League opener

Amiyah De’Long’s 17 kills and 13 digs led the Lightning to a 25-19, 25-17, 25-18 win over Crean Lutheran in the teams’ league opener at Sage Hill School on Tuesday night.
The Lightning, ranked second in the CIF Southern Section Division 3 poll, improve to 4-5 overall, 1-0 in league.
Sydnee Francis added 15 kills and 11 digs,. Carissa Long, the Lightning’s senior libero, had 14 digs and one ace.
