Newport Harbor girls’ tennis beats Los Alamitos, improve to 3-0 in league

Nicole Knickerbocker swept at No. 1 singles and the Newport Harbor High girls’ tennis team beat defending league champion Los Alamitos, 11-7, in a Sunset League match Monday at Newport Harbor High.
Riley DeCinces and Sterling Solomon won two of three doubles sets, as did Rachel Davis and Avery Wooden.
Newport Harbor is now 8-2, 3-0 in league. The Sailors host Fountain Valley on Tuesday.
