The NORCECA Continental Championship will feature teams from North and Central America, and the Caribbean to try to qualify for the 2011 FIVB Men’s Junior World Championship.

Davis, who is an incoming sophomore for UC Santa Barbara, competed with the boys’ youth national team in 2008 and 2009. The 2008 boys’ youth national team won the NORCECA Boys’ Youth Championship in Miami.

Davis was named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Freshman team in his first season with the Gauchos.

He made an immediate impact as a middle blocker. He started 19 matches, leading the team in blocks on seven occasions. He was second on the team with a .415 attack percentage and third on the team with 77 blocks. Davis recorded nine blocks on March 13 at Pepperdine, the most by any Gaucho in a single match during the 2010 season.
