Huntington Beach Water Polo Club is offering an introduction to water polo to beginning players Saturday and Sunday. The session is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day at the Huntington Beach High pool.

The clinic will teach fundamentals, general rules of the game, swimming techniques, sportsmanship and team work. Participants will receive instruction from club coaches Brian Anderson, Natalie Golda-Benson, Sasa Branisavljevic and Uros Dzelebdzic.

In other club news, fall registration is open for Huntington Beach Water Polo Club. The club is open to beginning- to- advanced players and divisions are as follows: 10-and-Under Coed; 12U Girls, 12U Boys, 14U Girls, 14U Boys, 16U Girls, 16U Boys, 18U Girls and 18U Boys.

H.B. Vikings travel baseball tryout is Sunday

Lifeletics Beginning Baseball program dates set

Lifeletics Baseball Instruction in Huntington Beach announced Tuesday that it is offering a Lil’ Sluggers Beginning Baseball Workout for local youth ages 4 to 7. The five-week training program, which will be held every Monday beginning Oct. 4 through Nov. 1, is designed as introductory instruction to build fundamentals.

The cost is $99 per player for five workouts. The Lifeletics training facility is at 16702 Burke Lane. For more information, call (714) 843-1989.
