Breakdown: Ross, coming off a school-record 250 yards rushing in last week’s win over Fairmont Prep, will again look to lead the Lightning (1-0) in tonight’s nonleague game … Tri-City Christian, of Vista, is also 1-0 after beating Borrego Springs, 35-8, on Saturday … The Eagles used a well-balanced attack, getting touchdown runs from three different players … Sage has lost to Tri-City Christian each of the last two years, including last year’s 35-21 setback where the Lightning were outscored, 28-0, in the second half … Tri-City Christian, an eight-man team before 2005, posted its first winning record as an 11-man team last year with an 8-3 mark.
