The Oilers are a new team, having come together in July to begin practicing for their first tournament in August. They captured first place in just their second tournament together.

Seeded third after going 1-1 on the opening day of the tournament Saturday, the Oilers came back Sunday to beat the Cal Aftershock, 10-2, to advance to the championship game. They won the title with ease, routing the OC Lions, 19-0.
