UCI wins again

SEATTLE — Junior Mikah Maly-Karros had 20 points and 12 rebounds to pace the visiting Anteaters in the nonconference game Monday.

UCI (6-3) won its sixth straight by shooting 60.7% from the field in the first half (17 for 28) and forcing four more turnovers (27) than it committed.

Maly-Karros, who has six double-doubles this season, made nine of 12 field-goal attempts.

Junior Kiara Belen matched her career high with 16 points, while senior point guard Jade Smith-Williams added 10 points and five assists.

Seattle fell to 3-7.

UCI visits Eastern Washington tonight at 7:30.
