Toy drive collects 137 gifts

Laguna Beach High volleyball team manager Dave Koning, founder of Changing Children's Lives, organized a recent toy drive in conjunction with the school's girls' volleyball awards banquet.

The program provides holiday gifts for local families, including an area group home for special needs children. Koning, a graduate of Laguna Beach High, has been a volunteer team manager for the school's volleyball programs since 2003. For information about the program, call (949) 494-1018 or e-mail
