IRVINE — The host Anteaters sank a season-high 11 three-pointers Saturday to remain tied atop the Big West Conference with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Junior Mikah Maly-Karros had 25 points and 11 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season. She was 10 of 13 from the field and netted her only three-point attempt.

Jacqueline Marshall and Jade Smith-Williams each had four three-pointers and 16 points to help UCI (11-4, 3-0 in conference) win its fifth straight.

The ‘Eaters shot 54.9% from the field and 55% from beyond the arc.

COSTA MESA — The No. 9-ranked Lions lost a six-point lead with 33 seconds left in regulation and were outscored, 14-6, in the five-minute overtime of the Golden State Athletic Conference home game Saturday.

T.J. Goddard led five Lions in double figures with 18 points.

Vanguard is 8-4, 4-2 in conference.

No. 17-ranked CBU is 12-4, 5-1.

SANTA BARBARA — Senior Cory Yoder had 14 kills and eight digs to lead the Anteaters’ 25-17, 18-25, 25-20, 25-20 win Saturday in the fifth-place match of the UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Invitational at UCSB.

Yoder hit .414, while Junior Kevin Carroll had 13 kills and hit .455 for No. 2-ranked UCI (2-2).

UCI freshman Daniel Stork had 44 assists.
