BAKERSFIELD — Junior Eric Wise had 15 points and 13 rebounds and senior Darren Moore chipped in 16 points for the Anteaters in the nonconference road game Wednesday.

It was the third straight double-double for Wise, who matched his career-high on the boards.

Patrick Rembert had 10 points and five assists for the winners (9-10), while Derick Flowers had a career-high seven points.

Mike Wilder had eight points in the final 5:56 for UCI, which plays host to Long Beach State on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Cypress 69, Orange Coast 62

COSTA MESA — Will Libon had 23 points to lead four Pirates in double figures in the Orange Empire Conference contest Wednesday at OCC.

John Russo (13 points), Matt Sawdon (12) and Jake Fedro (11) also chipped in for OCC (5-14, 1-3 in conference).

Cypress is 11-9, 1-3.

Orange Coast 71, Cypress 70

COSTA MESA — Samantha Hansen had 18 points and nine rebounds to lead the host Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Wednesday.

Alyssa Hanson had 16 points, while Tessie Pikula had 13 points off the bench, converting five of six field goal tries.

OCC is 17-5, 4-0 in conference.

Cypress is 13-7, 2-2.
