Corona del Mar High junior Mike Moorhead won the Golfweek West Coast Junior Invitational Sunday at the Troon North Monument Course in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Moorhead shot two consecutive one-under-par 71s to finish two shots ahead of Tyler Dunlap in the two-day tournament.

Moorhead was the only one to break par on both days in the boys’ division. His putting helped lead him to the victory, as he finished with birdies on holes No. 17 and 18 to lead the field. He sank a 25-foot birdie putt on 17.
