IRVINE — Ally Brahs and Monica Venturni scored a goal each within a span of three minutes for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game at Meadowood Park Tuesday.

Brahs scored on a penalty kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Venturini scored.

Goalie Lindsey Luke had 10 saves for CdM (11-2-4, 5-0-1 in league), which will play host to Irvine Thursday at 3:15 p.m.

NEWPORT COAST — The Lightning allowed the game-winning goal in the 75th minute of an Academy League match on Tuesday.

Goalkeepers Alexa Thomas and Paige Krueger combined to make nine saves for Sage Hill (8-7-1, 3-2-0 in league).

Newport Harbor 9, Santa Margarita 7

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA — Maddy McLaren, Presley Prender and Mary Rose Wight scored two goals each for the Sailors in the nonleague game Tuesday.

Catherine Carpenter had three steals and three assists, while goalie Sarah Wilkey had nine saves and four steals for Newport Harbor (14-4), which broke away from a 2-2 halftime tie with a 5-1 third-quarter run.

Sage Hill 5, Public Safety Academy 1

SAN BERNARDINO — Colton Gyulay had two goals and an assist for the Lightning in the nonleague game at the San Bernardino Soccer Complex Tuesday.

Jack Percival, Dylan Thies and Kavi Sakraney scored a goal each, while Tayor Ross provided an assist for Sage Hill (7-3-2).

Newport Harbor 43, Garden Grove 28

GARDEN GROVE — Sailors Jesus Sotelo (125-pound division), Jeff Bowler (160), Brandon Hayden (160) and Abraham Aguilar (215) each won by pin in the nonleague match Tuesday.

Alberto Ramirez (112), David Wadleigh (119), Larson Harley (130), Alex Maher (140) and Ryan Cerrato (189) were also winners for Newport (12-5).
