COSTA MESA — Junior Jake Knapp shot two-over-par 39 to earn medalist honors and lead the Eagles in the Golden West League match Monday at the Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club.

Courtland Lee (41), Jake Stone (45), Aaron Wood (45) and Ryan Quinlan (46) also scored for Estancia (3-0, 1-0 in league).

NEWPORT BEACH — Sage Hill School finished second and Newport Harbor third in the five-team event Monday at The Tennis Club.

Sage Hill defeated Newport Harbor, 7-2 in action that included Tesoro wins over Sage (6-3) and Newport Harbor (5-4).

Jason Cernius, Craig McKowen and Greg Brodereck represented Newport Harbor on the all-tournament team that also included Sage’s Robbe Simon, Alex Manalokas and Andrew Kurzweil.

Sage topped Oaks Christian, 6-3, while the Tars beat Temecula Valley and Oaks Christian by identical 7-2 margins.

The format was six singles and three doubles sets. Players could play singles and doubles.
