LAKEWOOD — Carter Norris finished sixth and Zach Eddy was seventh Thursday at Lakewood Country Club, both advancing to the CIF Southern Section Individual championship May 16 at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach.

Eddy advanced in dramatic fashion winning the final seventh spot on a playoff against three others, including teammate Marcus Kiel, Huntington Beach’s Jacob Schulve and Edison’s Zach Bauer. The quartet tied at 152. Eddy (75-77) and Kiel (76-76) kept playing after the first playoff hole, when Schulve and Bauer were eliminated.
