COSTA MESA — Jessica Amaral scored twice and Jenny Marler added a goal for the host Pirates in the nonconference game Wednesday.

OCC (1-1-1) posted a 20-1 advantage in shots as the Roadrunners fell to 2-2-1.

Katelyn O’Banion had one save for OCC.

COSTA MESA — Takuma Hori had a pair of assists and goalkeeper Tyler Folkins had eight saves for the host Pirates in their nonconference seaon opener Wednesday.

Dong-Gi Shin headed in the game-winner in the 56th minute, while Chase Nugent put OCC ahead, 1-0, in the 45th minute.
