CHICAGO — Four players scored for the visiting Anteaters, who improved to 6-0 for the first time in program history.

Enrique Cardenas, Christian Hernandez, Christopher Santana, and Jonathan Rivas scored for No. 9-ranked UCI, for which senior goalie Andrew Fontein made five saves.

Hernandez and Marco Franco has assists for UCI.

UIC is 2-1-2.

UCI opened 8-0-2 in 2008.

The Anteaters are set to face No. 11-ranked South Florida on Sunday.

STANFORD — The No. 11-ranked Anteaters stayed with the No. 2-ranked hosts into the 71st minute, when the Cardinal posted the first of two goals in an 82-second span.

UCI fell to 5-1-1, while Stanford is 6-0-1.

Stanford led in shots, 19-6.

UCI plays host to St. Mary’s on Friday at 7 p.m.
