STANFORD — Junior Bojan Hrlec scored with 29 seconds left in overtime to lift No.6-ranked UCI past No. 5-ranked UC Santa Barbara in the fifth-place game at Stanford on Sunday.

Hrlec had four goals to pace UCI (10-1).

Junior Alex Kazmier had 17 saves for the ‘Eaters, who went 3-1 in the tournament.

Earlier Sunday, UCI topped No. 7 Pacific, 11-10.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

UC Irvine 2, Princeton 1

LOS ANGELES — The Anteaters scored in the 86th minute to tie and in the 88th minute to win in the UCLA Invitational on Sunday.

Dana Sanderlin converted a Jordan Utvich assist for the game-winner after Utvich netted the equalizer on an assist from Rachel Wood.

UCI improved to 4-6.

Coast Classic

COSTA MESA — Leanne Allen was fourth in the women’s race to help host Orange Coast College claim the team title on Saturday at Fairview Park.

Allen’s 5K time was 19 minutes, 17.9 seconds.

Raeanna Cortez was seventh (19:27.79) and Karen Silvas was 10th (19:35.27) for OCC.

The OCC men finished fourth, with Austin Little (sixth in 21:05.05) and Barron Maizland (eighth in 21:07.98) leading the way on the four-mile course.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Cameron Iwasa scored in the 90th minute to force overtime, but the host Lobos scored the game-winner with 63 seconds left in the second 10-minute overtime period in the Lobo Invitational on Sunday.

UCI fell to 3-3-1.
