HUNTINGTON BEACH — Paige Tennison won the meet in 17 minutes, 11 seconds and helped lead Newport Harbor High to a 3-2 record Saturday at Central Park.

The Sailors beat Edison, 25-32, Los Alamitos, 23-36, and Huntington Beach, 15-50. They lost to Fountain Valley, 23-35, and Marina, 24-34.

Erin Barth finished ninth in 19:11 and Maggie Goodson was 13th in 19:23 for Newport Harbor.

Prep School Classic Invitational

NEWPORT BEACH — Sage Hill’s Liana Korber was named singles MVP Saturday at The Tennis Club Newport Beach.

Tesoro won the five-team event and Bishop Gorman finished second. Lauren Hsu and Kimberly Brown were named to the all-tournament team for Sage Hill.
