Share

The Edison High football team received a commendation on March 4 from the Huntington Beach City Council. The city council honored the Chargers who won the CIF Southern Section Southwest Division championship in late-November, the Sunset League title, finished with a final Division 2 state ranking of No. 2, and had 10 players make the All-CIF Southwest Division Team.

“It was a nice honor for the kids and their parents,” Edison Coach Dave White said. “It was neat to be recognized by the city for winning a CIF championship.”

Edison will host its annual Battle at the Beach passing league tournament on July 13.
