LAGUNA NIGUEL — Sophomore Amy Matsuoka and freshman Alyaa Abdulghany both shot par 36 to help the Sea Kings prevail in the nonleague match at El Niguel Country Club on Thursday.

Karlie Moses (38) also stood out for CdM (3-0), which opens Pacific Coast League play against Irvine on Tuesday at Costa Mesa Country Club.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

WESTMINSTER — Mai Le and Taylor Tuxford, playing No. 3 doubles for the visiting Eagles, earned a 6-3 win over the Aztecs’ No. 2 doubles team, while Kinley Ohland swept at No. 1 singles to key the nonleague victory Thursday.

Estancia (3-1), plays host to Oxford Academy on Tuesday.

Tesoro 11, Newport Harbor 7

NEWPORT BEACH — A pair of doubles teams won two of three sets for the host Sailors in the nonleague match Thursday.

Anna Burke and Kendall Cosenza (No.1), as well as Reagan Rutter and Annie LaGrandeur (No. 2) each won a pair of sets for the hosts (5-3).

The Sailors play host to Back Bay rival Corona del Mar on Tuesday.

FIELD HOCKEY

Newport Harbor 2, Glendora 0

GLENDORA — Riley Flanagan scored two goals to help lead the Sailors to their nonleague road win Wednesday.

Jordan Blanchfield and Emily Conant had one assist each.

Erika Nilsson had four saves in goal in the second half for Newport Harbor.

The Sailors play in the quarterfinals of the Otay Ranch Tournament on Saturday.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Estancia def. Irvine

IRVINE — Senior outside hitter Chloe Davis had 15 kills to key a 25-12, 25-15, 25-23 nonleague sweep for the visiting Eagles on Thursday.

Senior Lehua Jordan had 12 kills and senior Abby Griffith had seven blocks for the winners (2-2).
