LAS VEGAS — Newport Harbor High went 1-3 on Saturday at Palo Verde High to finish 46th out of 64 teams.

Reno Bishop Mangoue Catholic beat the Sailors, 25-21, 27-25.

Newport Harbor (3-10) scored a 25-13, 25-22 win against Flagstaff.

The Sailors then lost to the Clovis schools, Clovis (25-19, 25-12) and Clovis West (25-12, 25-11).

Gabby Shelley had 35 kills overall in the four matches, while Carolyn Bockrath had 27 kills for Newport Harbor, which went 2-6 in the tournament.

The Sailors play at Orange Lutheran Tuesday.

Rancho Alamitos 17, Estancia 8

Aaron Will, Jason Chesemore and Eli Sperling scored two goals each for the Eagles Friday.

Cody Nelson and Colin Williams added one goal each, while goalie Cody Nelson made 11 saves for Estancia (1-3).

COSTA MESA — Junior Patrick Hynes led the Sage Hill School boys, finishing 36th in 16 minutes, 20 seconds Friday at Estancia High.

The Lightning boys finished 18th in White Division – B.

Junior Brittany Andressoo finished 68th in 20:20 to help the Sage girls finish 17th in White Division – B.
