Fight Club OC returns Thursday

Fight Club OC will feature boxing, mixed martial arts and Muay Thai fights on the same card at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Four boxing, three MMA and two Muay Thai fights are on tap inside the hangar.

The boxing action highlights two undefeated fighters, light middleweight John Hays (4-0) and junior welterweight Dwain Victorian (2-0).

Hays, from Los Angeles, goes against Phoenix’s Moses Alvizo (3-6).

Victorian, of Anaheim, faces Mexico’s Juan Zuniga (1-13-1).

Daniel Kim, a UC Irvine graduate, makes his pro debut against another newbie, Long Beach’s Devonte Donaldson, in a 142-pound fight.

Chino Hills’ Justin Davenport and Oceanside’s Matt McKinney are each making their heavyweight debut.

The MMA portion is highlighted by Irvine’s Steven Stryker (2-1) against Huntington Beach’s Kory Kelly (0-2) in a welterweight battle.

The other two MMA fights include Anaheim’s Andre Walker (1-0) against Huntington Beach’s Paul Gemmati (0-2) in a middleweight bout, and Buena Park’s Fabian Gonzalez and Los Angeles’ Isaac Velasco are each making their debut as featherweights.

The Muay Thai portion has Lisa Mauldin (3-2) against Theresa Crowley (3-0), and Chris Mauldin (3-0) against Edwin Avila (3-0).
