OC Vision comes out on top

The OC Vision Elite boys' 14U team took home the first-place trophy in the Platinum Division of the Avac Hoyas & SPK Fall invitational that took place Oct. 5-6 at the Next Level basketball facility in Garden Grove.

Playing suffocating defense and sharing the basketball on the offensive end, OCV average margin of victory was well over 25 points. New Head Coach Kenyon Rasheed believes his team has the talent and basketball IQ to compete with any 14U club on the West Coast and says his team is looking forward to competing against the best of the best this travel season.

"My goal is to build a team that will compete at a high level and continue to improve throughout the travel season," Rasheed said after the tournament.

Led by a balanced attack that featured the athleticism of Christian, versatility of Jake, power of Oscar, and shooting of Shan OCV dominated all five tournament games and never trailed all weekend.

The elite travel team is 100% sponsored.
