The Mesa Water District will hold three events this month to give residents tips on improving their yards’ water efficiency.
A workshop scheduled for Saturday will focus on drought-tolerant plants and landscape design. A second workshop, set for April 16, will provide pointers on water-efficient irrigation practices.
Both events will run from 9 a.m. to noon in the boardroom at the district’s headquarters, 1965 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa.
A water-efficient landscape expo will be held from 8 a.m. to noon April 30 at The Home Depot, 2300 S. Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa.
The workshops and the expo are free to attend.
