Ceremony on Wednesday for 240-unit housing project in Costa Mesa

Representatives of CityView, an investment management and development firm, and Red Oak Investments, an urban redevelopment company, will unveil the name of a 240-unit multifamily housing project in Costa Mesa during a ceremony Wednesday afternoon.

The ceremony, scheduled for 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., will be held at the project site, 125 E. Baker St. Lunch will be served.

The development will be four stories tall and include a fitness center, a conference room and a dog park, among other amenities. The project also calls for a six-story parking structure.

Speakers at Wednesday’s event will include CityView Chairman and co-founder Henry Cisneros, a former secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Also scheduled to speak are Costa Mesa Mayor Steve Mensinger, Red Oak Principal and co-founder Joe Flanagan and CityView Chief Executive Sean Burton.
