Graduations are Thursday for Newport-Mesa high schools

For the Class of 2016, the wait is almost over.

Thursday is high school graduation day in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, as more than 1,500 seniors don caps and gowns and step into their future.

Here is the schedule of the day’s commencement ceremonies:

Back Bay and Monte Vista high schools

When: 10 a.m.
Where: Robert B. Moore Theater, Orange Coast College, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa

Estancia High School

When: 3 p.m.
Where: Jim Scott Stadium, Estancia High, 2323 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa

Newport Harbor High School

When: 4 p.m.
Where: Lebard Stadium, Orange Coast College, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa

Corona del Mar High School

When: 5:30 p.m.
Where: Track infield, Corona del Mar High, 2101 Eastbluff Drive, Newport Beach

Costa Mesa High School

When: 6 p.m.
Where: Jim Scott Stadium, Estancia High School, 2323 Placentia Ave., Costa Mesa
