Harbour View Elementary School in Huntington Beach continued its annual tradition of inviting veterans, most of them from American Legion Post 133, for a special assembly and then into the classrooms to answer students’ questions about their military service.

More than 20 veterans were in attendance Monday.

“It is a very special day for all of us,” Harbour View Principal Cindy Osterhout said in a statement. “We have been doing this for the 10 years that I’ve been here at Harbour View, and for years before that.”
