Hoops tourney and community fair set for Saturday in Costa Mesa

The Mika Community Development Corp. is holding its annual C3 Basketball Tournament and Community Fair on Saturday at the Downtown Recreation Center in Costa Mesa.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is scheduled to include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, weather permitting. C3 stands for Cops, Church and Community, with each entity represented in the tournament. Estancia boys’ basketball Coach Xavier Castellano and a few of the Eagles players are scheduled to play.

The Downtown Recreation Center is located at 1860 Anaheim Ave. in Costa Mesa. Food will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Mika’s projects in low-income neighborhoods.
