Freshman Ashwin Chona struck out 10 in six shutout innings, improving to 7-0 for the host Lightning in an Academy League game on Thursday.

Michael Helton and Brett Super each went two for three with a run batted in for Sage Hill (14-1, 2-0 in league), ranked No. 1 in the CIF Southern Section Division 6 poll.

Sage Hill plays at Oxford Academy on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.
