A community health organization that serves the medical needs of the poor and homeless in Orange County will roll out a new program next month that sends mobile clinical teams into the street to treat the ailing destitute. A county supervisor believes the organization is moving too slowly.

Orange County devotes $600,000 to first suicide-prevention program

The Orange County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to devote $600,000 to begin the first countywide suicide prevention program aimed at combating a spiraling mental health crisis.
