Memorials were held Sunday to mark one year since the fiery car crash that claimed the lives of five Burbank youth.

- Momentum was the prevailing motivation for the Flintridge Prep football team entering Saturday’s nonleague contest. Dominating in every facet of the game and keeping hold of the momentum for four quarters, Flintridge Prep throttled visiting Mountain Empire, 47-8, at Occidental College.
- A man who stole a Bentley from the Malibu driveway of celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels and later caught in Burbank was sentenced Friday to 17 years in state prison.
