Police on Wednesday released security footage of a man stealing two display phones from the AT&T store in the Glendale Galleria.

Around 4 p.m. on July 11, the man was browsing cellphones at the store when he removed the security tether from two of them and pocketed them before leaving, said Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

The two cellphones — a Samsung Galaxy S5 and an LG G4 — were together valued at $1,278.

The suspect was described as white, between 25 and 35 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches, with short dark hair.
