Bernie Sanders to appear at rally Sunday in Irvine

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders plans to appear at a campaign rally Sunday in Irvine.

Doors will open to the public at 3 p.m. for the “Future to Believe In” event at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, 8808 Irvine Center Drive. The program is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

Admission is free, but parking is $10.

The Vermont senator will be coming to Orange County from an event earlier Sunday in Vista. He also has a rally scheduled for Saturday in National City.

Guests are asked not to bring chairs, signs, banners, weapons or sharp objects.
