Man accused of sending threatening messages to Blizzard Entertainment

A Sacramento man has been indicted on allegations of threatening to injure employees of Irvine-based video game developer Blizzard Entertainment, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.

Stephen Cebula, 28, is accused of transmitting messages to the company over the Internet between July 2 and 3, claiming he “may or may not pay [Blizzard] a visit with an AK-47, amongst some other ‘fun’ tools.”

Cebula was arrested July 12 and is in custody, according to a news release. If convicted, he could face a maximum of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
