Corona del Mar girls’ tennis tops Beckman, 16-2

Shaya Northrup swept in doubles with Annika Bassey and Reece Kenerson as the Corona del Mar High girls’ tennis team beat Beckman 16-2 in a Pacific Coast League match Friday at CdM.

Kristina Evloeva, Danielle Willson and Paulina Loredo swept in singles for CdM (15-0, 6-0 in league), the top-ranked team in CIF Southern Section Division 1.

CdM plays at Northwood on Tuesday before the second league match with rival University, on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Racquet Club of Irvine.
