A man was punched and robbed of about $200 at a Costa Mesa gas station Saturday night, police said.

Two men in their 20s approached the man about 8:20 p.m. at the Mobil station at 3470 Fairview Road and asked him if he had marijuana. When he answered that he did not, one of the men hit him and stole his money, about $200, said Sgt. Bang Le.

As the two men walked away, one lifted his shirt to show the victim that he was carrying a handgun. The men left the scene with another man and a woman in a silver Toyota Camry, Le said.
