News-Press Pet of the Day: Lobo

Share

Lobo is a 5-year-old, neutered male, gray-and-white Siberian husky mix. While he is technically a senior, Lobo has the energy of a younger dog. He loves going for walks and running around at full speed in the play yard.

Lobo would do well in a home that can provide him with lots of exercise and continue to work on his training cues. In celebration of Adopt a Senior Pet Month, Lobo’s adoption fee is reduced to $20 throughout November. The adoption fee includes the spay/neuter surgery, microchip and the first set of vaccines.

The regular dog adoption fee is $125, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations, and a free follow-up health check with a participating veterinarian.

SheeBee (A277312) and Walter (A388672), two Pets of the Week from last week, are still available.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for a pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A387710 or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions to the shelter and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.
