News-Press Pet of the Day: Percy

Percy is a 10-month-old, 5-pound, unaltered male, German shepherd mix.

This sweet, playful boy loves going for walks and receiving attention, especially a nice scratch behind the ears. Because of all his puppy energy, Percy would do well in a very active home, where he can get lots of exercise. If you’re looking for an eager activity buddy, you should meet Percy.

The regular dog adoption fee is $125, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations, and a free follow-up health check at a participating veterinarian.

Lobo (A387710) and Ella (A388953), two Pets of the Week from last week, were both adopted.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for a pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A389467 or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
