A 48-year-old Burbank man who was banned from the Glendale Galleria last year after being accused of sexual battery was caught there Tuesday “aggressively” masturbating while staring at three young children, police said.

Khajag Markarian, who reportedly has two pending sexual battery cases from last year, was arrested on suspicion of child annoyance and trespassing, according to Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William.

A family was eating at the mall McDonald’s around noon when the father of three reportedly noticed Markarian touching himself and yelled at him to leave.

After Markarian left, the man went looking for mall security, and when he returned, the suspect was back, still masturbating.

Another parent reported seeing Markarian in April masturbating while watching students at Glendale High School, William said.

Anyone with information about Markarian is asked to call the Glendale police at (818) 548-4911.
