Public input sought on Glendale voting districts

As Glendale Unified officials prepare to establish five new voting districts ahead of the April 2017 school board election, they are seeking public input about how the districts should be drawn.

A series of public meetings will begin next week with the first one at 6 p.m. Thursday at Roosevelt Middle School, 222 East Acacia Ave.

Another meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on March 12 in the board room at the school district’s headquarters, located at 223 N. Jackson St.

A third community meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on March 16 in the auditorium at Crescenta Valley High School, 4400 Ramsdell Ave., La Crescenta, followed by a final meeting at 6 p.m. on March 17 in the auditorium at Toll Middle School, 700 Glenwood Road.

The school board plans to adopt the new map on May 3.
