Trio of suspects caught on camera attempting to break into a La Crescenta home

Glendale police released footage this week showing three men attempting to break into a La Crescenta home late last month.

The footage, dated Oct. 31, shows the men trying to peer into a home in the 3700 block of Santa Carlotta Street.

One of the men set off the home’s security system after trying to open a rear sliding-glass door, police said. All three immediately ran away.

Officials said the trio fled the scene in a silver, late model Chevrolet Malibu with chrome rims.

The three are all described as black. One is 20 to 26 years old with a goatee and a possible tattoo or skin discoloration on his left temple. The other two have have thin builds with one being 18 to 25 years old and the other 20 to 30 years old with a mustache and goatee.
