Man attempting to cross freeway is struck and killed in Glendale

A Los Angeles man was struck and killed early Wednesday morning after attempting to cross a freeway.

According to California Highway Patrol the man was attempting to cross the westbound 134 Freeway near Harvey Drive for unknown reasons around 12:07 a.m. Nov. 30 when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man sustained major injuries and was transported to Glendale Adventist Medical Center where he died.

It is currently unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors in the incident. Authorities are not releasing the man’s name at this time.
