The Glendale Police Department has reported officers arrested a person last week who has been driving for the last five years without a license.

In addition to being unlicensed, police said the driver’s vehicle had not been registered for over a year. The arrest was part of a larger traffic enforcement operation the department held Friday evening that netted 18 citations. They included:

  • seven for vehicles with a modified exhaust system
  • three for speeding
  • three for tinted windows
  • two for being an unlicensed driver
  • two for texting
  • two for having no license plates
  • one for having an unregistered vehicle
  • one for making an illegal U-turn

In addition to the citations, the department said it impounded two vehicles.

The operation targeted downtown Glendale and a stretch of Glenoaks Boulevard.
