One arrest made and 18 citations issued during Glendale traffic enforcement operation
The Glendale Police Department has reported officers arrested a person last week who has been driving for the last five years without a license.
In addition to being unlicensed, police said the driver’s vehicle had not been registered for over a year. The arrest was part of a larger traffic enforcement operation the department held Friday evening that netted 18 citations. They included:
- seven for vehicles with a modified exhaust system
- three for speeding
- three for tinted windows
- two for being an unlicensed driver
- two for texting
- two for having no license plates
- one for having an unregistered vehicle
- one for making an illegal U-turn
In addition to the citations, the department said it impounded two vehicles.
The operation targeted downtown Glendale and a stretch of Glenoaks Boulevard.
