Share

With the holidays currently on everyone’s minds, it’s easy to forget how quickly classes will resume in January. Planning ahead, parents and family adults can take note of the next free event hosted by Glendale Unified School District’s Student Support Services Department.

A workshop about “Cyberbullying” will be presented at 6 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the Library Connection at Adams Square, 1100 E. Chevy Chase Drive.

Hosted by Glendale Unified psychologist Ilin Magran, parents and family adults will learn that cyberbullying is any harassment that occurs via technology, chat rooms, fake profiles or email messages. The free workshop will help parents and family adults identify strategies and resources to effectively prevent and respond to cyberbullying.

Seating is limited. Call (818) 548-3833 to preregister.
