Letter: Praise for the story on Odgers exhibit

Thank you for the excellent Kirk Silsbee review of Jayme Odgers’ exhibit at the Off Ramp Gallery (Dec. 19-20).

Having known and been awed by the Los Angeles artist since the early ’80s, and having four of his joyous, thoughtful, magical museum-quality pieces, this tribute to Odgers’ documentation of his personal journey and health challenge is appreciated for its sobering therapeutic expression.

Odgers’ enormous career in photography, graphic design, painting, and drawing has long captured the beautiful, sensual, and metaphysical that he embodies creatively, and one wishes him wellness, and a long and sturdy life in which to continue his art.
