Rachel Bird, Senior, Crescenta Valley
Authored a wonderful comeback story, as she returned from two seasons of injury to score 14 goals and tally 13 assists in an All-Pacific League first-team season.
Kira Bochard, Junior, Burbank
An excellent all-around athlete, Bochard proved to be one of the area and Pacific League’s most dynamic offensive weapons. She tallied team-highs of 23 goals and 10 assists en route to first-team All-Pacific League and All-CIF Southern Section Division IV honors.
Mona Cesario, Sophomore, Flintridge Prep
Marked by her trademark headband, the opposition had plenty of trouble marking the Rebels’ facilitator, who garnered All-Prep league first-team recognition with nine goals and 11 assists.
Nicole Jabourian, Junior, Crescenta Valley
Pacific League honorable mention won starting goaltending job with consistent and dynamic play, her most dramatic performance coming in a phenomenal showing to help defeat archrival Arcadia.
Brianna McReynolds, Freshman, Crescenta Valley
Turned in one of the finest rookie seasons in Falcons history, as the All-Pacific League first-team pick and offensive dynamo had 21 goals, including a historic game-winner against Arcadia, and seven assists.
Maddie Riggs, Junior, Burroughs
Underrated and versatile talent was a second-team All-Pacific League pick who turned in a first-team season with a team-high 12 goals and team-high eight assists.
Sophia Saldivar, Junior, Flintridge Sacred Heart
Skillful offensive player was a first-team All-Mission League honoree who had a team-high six goals and three assists for the Tologs.
Lauren Savo, Senior, Flintridge Sacred Heart
Last season’s All-Area Girls’ Soccer Player of the Year had another stellar season as a defender and midfielder, scoring three goals, tallying two assists and playing phenomenal defense en route to first-team All-Mission League honor.
Helen Schaefer, Freshman, Flintridge Prep
Turned in one of the greatest debut seasons in area history, as the All-Prep League and All-CIF Southern Section Divisioin III first-team honoree scored an eye-popping 38 goals to set a school record and added 14 assists.
Emma Tapp, Senior, La Cañada
An All-Rio Hondo League and All-CIF Southern Section Division IV first-team pick, she was a versatile defender who also had six goals and two assists.
Heather Turcios, Senior, Flintridge Sacred Heart
Overlooked during a somewhat down season for Tologs, was still one of the area’s most talented defenders. Bound for Denver to play in the fall.
Coach of the Year
Esteban Chavez, Flintridge Prep
Seemingly helming a young squad every season, the Rebels were the area’s best team with just three seniors. Under his tutelage, Flintridge Prep posted a 16-3-5 record that included a share of the Prep League team thanks to a touchstone win over rival Pasadena Poly that broke the Panthers’ 42-match league unbeaten streak. Thereafter, Prep advanced to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division III playoffs with a dominant 7-0 win over Granite Hills preceding a 3-2 loss to San Marcos.
