GIRLS’ TENNIS

Crescenta Valley 11, Burbank 7: Host Crescenta Valley won seven doubles set to pick up an important Pacific League win Tuesday. The Falcons (8-1, 7-1 in league), who expanded their lead for second place on Burbank with the season sweep, got three wins from Rachel Shin and Michelle Jung (6-1, 6-2, 6-2).

Harvard-Westlake 18, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 0: The visiting Tologs fell Tuesday in a Mission League match at L.A. Valley College. Flintridge Sacred Heart dipped to 1-6, 1-2 in league.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Holy Family 3, Bishop Conaty-Loretto 0: Holy Family registered a 25-21, 25-20, 25-12 Horizon League home win Tuesday at Maple Park.

The Gaels (9-6, 3-1 in league) got 30 digs from Kaylee Hernandez and 22 digs, six kills and three aces from Meghann Velasquez.

Flintridge Prep 3, Firebaugh 0: The Rebels cruised to a 25-5, 25-9, 25-15 Prep League home win Tuesday. The Rebels (8-3, 3-3 in league) got 13 digs from Ellen Chang, nine kills from Chloe Chanren and eight kills from Courtney Johnson.

Harvard-Westlake 3, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 0: The Tologs lost, 25-18, 25-18, 25-18, on Tuesday in a Mission League road match.

Emily Smith tallied eight kills, Megan Lund added seven kills and Maddie Pernecky registered 10 digs for the Tologs, who are 5-10 and 0-4 in league.

Burroughs 3, Glendale 0: The host Nitros fell, 25-21, 25-16, 25-15, in a Pacific League match Tuesday.

GIRLS’ GOLF

Crescenta Valley, Glendale in Pacific League match No. 5: Crescenta Valley finished third with a 234 at Tuesday’s event at Santa Anita Golf Course in Arcadia. The Falcons received a six-over-par 43 from Cathlyn Junio. Glendale’s Elis Alaan fired a 44. Arcadia won with a 192, followed by Burroughs with a 231.

GIRLS’ CROSS-COUNTRY

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy at Bellarmine-Jefferson Invitational: The Tologs took home a victory Saturday morning at Griffith Park.

Flintridge Sacred Heart cruised to a win with a 34-74 triumph over St. Paul in the blue race as all five scorers finished in the top 15.

Sophomore Lauren Nettles finished second in 19 minutes, 9.5 seconds as she was just behind Marian Ledesma (18:45.8) of Cerritos Valley Christian.

Flintridge Sacred Heart’s Samantha Covey was third (20:00.6), freshman Alexandra Christodoulou was fourth (20:34.5) and junior Megan Koehler placed 13th (21:30.4).
