Flintridge Prep 3, Crescenta Valley 2: The host Rebels (2-0) got goals from Julia Gonzalez, Natalie Brown and Mikaela Celeste on Friday to earn a nonleague victory. Crescenta Valley fell to 1-1.

Alverno 1, Glendale 0: The host Nitros (2-1) dropped a nonleague match Friday.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Flintridge Prep 2, Campbell Hall 2: Garrett Gaines and Ramzi Beshir had one goal and one assist each Friday for the visiting Rebels (1-0-1) in a nonleague match.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 38, West Ranch 37: Janna deVera finished with 10 points and Kysa Hayashi added six on Friday to lead the Tologs (1-4) to a win in the seventh-place game of the Falcon Tip-Off Classic at Crescenta Valley High.

Village Christian 60, Flintridge Prep 51: The Rebels (3-1) suffered a pool-play defeat Friday in the 28th annual Paul Sutton Tip-Off Classic at Providence High. They will play Providence on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the third-place game.

Diamond Ranch 75, Hoover 26: Hoover (0-3) lost in a pool-play game in the Rosemead Tournament on Friday. The Tornadoes got eight points from Khiaea Almenderas.

Burbank 62, St. Monica Academy 25: St. Monica lost in the San Marino Tournament on Friday.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 53, Providence 32: Flintridge Prep (2-1) posted a victory in the 28th annual Paul Sutton Tournament at Providence on Friday.

Oxnard 54, Glendale 52: The Nitros (1-3) fell Friday at the Burbank Tournament.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Pasadena City College 83, Glendale Community College 59: The Vaqueros (3-4) fell Friday in a pool-play game of the West L.A. Tournament. Serigne Athj finished with 18 points and six rebounds for Glendale, which got 13 points from Dom Gully. Glendale began the tourney Thursday with a 92-66 loss against El Camino-Compton.
