The California Department of Transportation has closed portions of the Foothill (210) Freeway through Friday morning as part of an ongoing pavement rehabilitation project. The most recent round of closures began Monday and affects both the eastbound and westbound directions.

On the eastbound 210, from 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Friday, the eastbound connector to the southbound 134 Freeway and the eastbound connector to the 710 Freeway will be closed, as will the Lowell Avenue on-ramp, Ocean View Boulevard off-ramp and the Pennsylvania and La Crescenta avenue on- and off-ramps, and up to three lanes between Lowell and Lake avenues.

In the westbound direction, from 7 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Friday, the 210 westbound connector to 710 Freeway southbound will be closed, as well up to four lanes between Lake and Lowell avenues.

From 8 p.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Friday, the Walnut Street on-ramp will also be closed.

During these times, construction signs and changeable message signs will be in place to alert motorists to construction activities and closures.

The work is part of a $148.5 million contract to improve resurfacing on the Foothill Freeway.
