Fire damage to Glendale home estimated at $500,000
A blaze that started in the family room of a Glendale home on Saturday caused roughly $500,000 in damages, fire officials said.
No one was injured in the blaze, which occurred about 5:07 p.m. in the two-story home in the 1500 block of Puebla Drive, according to the Glendale Fire Department.
A resident was evacuated from the home as firefighters attacked the blaze.
Damage to the home’s structure was estimated at $300,000 and loss to its contents was $200,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
